Three-day balance sheet in Turkey’s Afrin operation

Syrian Democratic Forces announced that 40 members of the Turkish army and affiliated gangs have been killed during three days of Turkey’s invasion attempt against Afrin.

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has released the three-day balance sheet of the Turkish state’s invasion operation against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria.

Accordingly, 40 members of the Turkish army and affiliated gangs have been killed and nearly 300 others have been wounded.

As a result of attacks of the Turkish army on Afrin and surrounding civilian settlements, 18 civilians lost their life and 23 others got wounded.

Three fighters also fell as martyrs during three days of invasion attacks.

The statement said that women and children are among those killed or wounded by the attacks.

According to SDF, two tanks of the Turkish army were destroyed and a BMB. Type vehicle carrying soldiers was damaged in the village of Kurdo in Afrin’s Bilbile district.
