Rojava official among those injured by Turkish attack on Efrîn people

Rohilat Arif, an executive from the Democratic Federal System, was injured alongside many civilians during Turkish soldiers' attack on Efrîn people on the border yesterday.

Soldiers of the invading Turkish army yesterday opened fire on the people who continue their resistance in the border village of Sorka in Efrîn's Raco district in protest at the Turkish troops that crossed the border and started to build a wall the night before.

The attack by Turkish soldiers left many civilians injured, including Northern Syria Democratic Federal System Social Contract Committee Member Rohilat Arif.

While at least 20 people were injured in the aggression, Arif and the injured civilians were taken to the Avrîn Hospital in Efrîn city for treatment.
