Claims of clashes on the Rojhilat-Bakûr border

The Iranian army stated that there were some clashes with a group on the border between Rojhilat and Bakûr.

The Iranian Pasdaran forces issued a written statement and announced a clash with an armed group on the border between Rojhilat (Eastern) and Bakûr (Northern) Kurdistan last night.

In the statement by the Hemze Headquarters under Pasdaran, it was announced that one commander from Pasdaran and 3 people from the armed group lost their lives.

The statement said: “Last night, an armed group supported by foreign intelligence agencies attacked the Pasdaran forces in point zero on the western border of Iran. In the ensuing clashes, 3 people from the armed group were killed and 4 were wounded, while one other was captured alive. The rest of the group fled the border.”

The Pasdaran statement continues to add that a commander named Yasîn Qenberî was killed.

No information was given as to who the clashes were with, and no group has claimed the incident so far.
