Turkish fighter jets shell Medya Defense Zones

Turkish fighter jets carried out bombardments in the Medya Defense Zones. HPG reported no casualties during the air strikes.

The Press Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) reported that the occupant Turkish state carried out air strikes against the Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

HPG released the following information on the latest air strikes by the Turkish army:

“On February 26, at 06:00, the Şikefta Birîndaran area in ​​the Zap region was bombed by fighter jets.

On February 26, Kartal area in ​​the Avashin region was bombed at 10:00 and the Mervanos area at 20:20 by fighter jets.

On February 26, at 13:00, the Saca area in ​​the Zap region was randomly bombed by fighter jets.

On February 26, between 13:00 and 13:30, fighter jets bombed the vicinity of Siyanê and Çemrobotkî villages in the Garê region.

On February 28, at 06:15, Kartal area in ​​the Avashin region was bombed by fighter jets.

On February 28, between 18:00 - 18:30, the vicinity of Yekmalê village in the Garê region was bombed by fighter jets.

On March 2, at 23:00, the Basyan area in ​​the Avashin region was bombed by fighter jets.

On March 6, between 10:00 - 11:00, the Sinînê area in ​​the Xakurkê region was bombed by fighter jets. On the same day, between 19:00 and 20:00, the Sekif area was bombed by fighter jets.

On March 6, at 10:30 - 11:00, the Kunişka area in ​​the Avashin region was bombed by fighter jets."

HPG added that they did not suffer any casualties as a result of the mentioned air strikes.
