Kurds in Turin say no to isolation

Kurds joined the march organised every year to protest against the project to build a high speed train from Turin to Lyon.

Kurds who participated in the "No Tav” march in Turin, Italy, protested the isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The march went from Via Cernaia to Piazza Castello and was organised by the No Tav movement (against the high speed train) and social centres Askatasuna, Gabrio, and associations and parties like Arci, Communist, Fai and Ufa.

The Kurds participating to the march commended DTK Co-Chair and HDP Hakkari deputy Leyla Güven who is on hunger strike for a month and all the prisoners who are partaking in solidarity hunger strikes.
