The KCK published a new brochure on the history of German-Turkish relations, internationalism and the establishment of a global Democratic Confederalism. Duran Kalkan, member of the KCK Executive Council, discusses all these issues in an extensive interview.
In the light of Germany's participation in the current attacks on North and East Syria and North Iraq but also the ever increasing repression against Kurds and other democratic forces in Germany, who stand up for peace and freedom, the KCK consider it important to share this brochure with you.
Duran Kalkan comments on the history and characteristics of German-Turkish relations, international solidarity and the establishment of a global Democratic Confederalism. The interview was conducted in March 2018, but has lost nothing of its relevance. On the contrary, Germany’s participation in the current attacks on North and East Syria and North Iraq but also the ever increasing repression against Kurds and other democratic forces in Germany, who stand up for peace and freedom, speak volumes.
