Invading gangs in al-Bab kill each other

Clashes broke out between gangs in al-Bab, several casualties reported.

Clashes broke out between gangs under the security institutions and the Al Hamzat gangs in al-Bab under Turkish army invasion. Reports say clashes broke out when one of the gang leaders of Al Hamzat was arrested by the gangs operating as security.

Local sources in Rai town report casualties from both sides in the conflict between gangs and that there are 10 wounded people. The number of casualties is yet to be determined.

THE TURKISH STATE IS INVOLVED IN THE CLASHES

After the inter-gang clashes ended, clashes broke out between al-Bab Military Council controlled by the Turkish state and the “Free Police” gangs trained by the Turkish army. The reason for these clashes was a dispute regarding the allocation of property seized from the people, and there are also casualties reported.

In the most recent clashes between gangs, over 100 gang members are rumored to have been killed and over 200 hundred wounded, in the area from Jarablus to Azaz.

Each gang imposes their own sovereignty in the invaded areas, and this becomes the main reason for the clashes.
