ISIS gangs continue attacking Til Temir and surrounding villages. 42 gang members were killed in clashes in the last one day.

YPG Press Centre said in a written statement that ISIS gangs continued their attacks on Til Temir and surrounding villages since 23 February. Heavy clashes are taking place between Defense Units and gang groups that are replacing their groups in the field and making further reinforcements after suffering heavy losses in clashes.

According to the statement, severe clashes took place in the villages of Til Şamiran, Til Hafyan and Til Mixas to the southwest of Til Temir last night. YPG/YPJ fighters retook control in Til Mixas village after the clashes during which 42 members of the gangs were ascertained killed with the support of the anti-ISIS coalition with air strikes.

YPG/YPJ fighters destroyed a mililtary vehicle of the gangs near the village of Til Talaa to the southwest of Til Temir today noon, the statement said, adding that the exact number of casualties couldn't be ascertained.

YPG/YPJ destroyed another vehicle of the gangs near the village of Xizêla in the south of Til Hemis yesterday night, leaving one gang member dead and two others wounded.

Regarding the ongoing battle in Kobanê, YPG said that the resistance against the occupation attempt of the ISIS continued in the phase of victory on the 180th day.

YPG Press Centre said that ISIS gangs have also launched attacks on YPG/YPJ forces that have consolidated their control in the rural areas of Kobanê, adding that separate clashes broke out this morning after the gangs attacked the YPG/YPJ around the Qereqozax village to the southwest of the town.
