Öcalan’s lawyers to file criminal complaint against the Justice Ministry

Lawyers for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan will file a criminal complaint against the Ministry of Justice.

The aggravated isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues. No word has been received from Öcalan since April 5, 2015. Concerns on his health and safety have increased since the coup attempt on July 15.

Öcalan’s lawyers will file a criminal complaint against the Ministry of Justice for their client held in isolation.

The lawyers submitted a petition to the Ministry to meet with the Minister of Justice to discuss conditions for a meeting with Öcalan 10 days ago, but the petition hasn’t been answered yet.

The lawyers are preparing to file a criminal complaint against the Ministry as their petition was left unanswered.
