YPG Press Office has issued a statement regarding the ongoing operation in the area of Til Hemis on its 7th day, reporting that the villages of Sebîl-İl Kessar, Ebu Twêna, Xwêtla, Ebu Kibêr, Duêc, Hiseniyê and Fexariya to the north west of the town have been liberated last night.

YPG reported that corpses of 3 ISIS members as well as a large amount of ammunition and health materials were seized in the operation.

The statement said that YPG launched another operation to liberate Til Berak 31 km south west of Til Hemis and 32km north east of Haseke, adding that YPG/YPJ forces continue to advance in the town, while fierce clashes are taking place between the YPG/YPJ forces and the ISIS gangs.

YPG further reported about the clashes in Til Temir, saying that fierce clashes took place on some points in the town last night, and added that 6 gang members were killed and a vehicle of the gangs was destroyed near Xerîta village between Haseke and Til Temir.

In the meantime, YPG forces responded to an infiltration attempt of the gangs in Til Hirmiz village near Til Temir, leaving 2 gang members dead.

YPG also reported that the YPG/YPJ forces defeated another attack of the ISIS gangs around Til Temir Bridge, destroying a vehicle of the gangs and killing 9 gang members.
