There are several confessions about the casualties hidden by the state and the war crimes committed in Kurdistan in a letter published by Turkish journalist Nihat Özcan in his column.
A member of the special operations units who takes part in the attacks in Mardin's Nusaybin district has sent a letter to Ali Nihat Özcan, a journalist for a pro-AKP newspaper.
Özcan has published the letter, laden with confessions on the casualties hidden by the state and the war crimes in Kurdistan, in his column.
THE RESISTERS CALL ON US TO SURRENDER
The officer writes that they can’t advance in Nusaybin, the resisters call on them to surrender and their positions are extremely close to each other.
The unidentified officer says they fear trial in national and ECHR courts in the coming process, inadvertently confessing violations and war crimes in Kurdistan.
The letter continues with fascistic discourse to “eradicate the last one” and calls on like-minded people to “do something”, and that “tomorrow will be too late if something isn’t done.”
4 BATTALIONS DISBANDED IN SUR
The officer mentions clashes in Sur, saying that the attacks started with two battalions, then the number rose to 18 battalions and ended with 14 battalions, confessing the fact that 4 battalions were disbanded in the process.
Expressing his psychological breakdown, the special operations officer calls on the government and asks “how many MPs have been punished” and “how many laws are made”. Mentioning the casualties the state is suffering, the officer says “A light goes out in some homes every day. The light might go out in yours too.”
