As the curfew in Mardin's Nusaybin district continues in its fifth day, Turkish troops have launched artillery fire at around 06:00 this morning.

While two cannon balls hit a civilian house in Abdulkadir Paşa neighborhood, the gunfire has luckily caused no casualties but left the house greatly damaged.

On Şirin Street combining Fırat and Abdulkadir Paşa neighborhoods, where attacks by Turkish forces also continue, a Cobra type helicopter opens random fire on the people as they go out. The attack has started a fire in a house which could be extinguished thanks to the efforts of the people themselves.

In the meantime, a 17-year-old child by the name of Abdullah Ak was detained by special operation teams during last night's attacks in Yeni Turan neighborhood.

Heavy attacks by Turkish forces continue in Abdulkadir Paşa ad Fırat neighborhoods.

On the other hand, a group of HDP deputies are still being held at the entry of the district and denied permission to reach the people for solidarity with their resistance.

A 26-person delegation from Europe comprised of parliamentarians, medics, journalists and academics has also been stopped at the entry of the district and denied permission to move further to witness the developments at scene.

The European delegation accompanied by HDP deputies Mithat Sancar and Ali Atalan had to turn back from the area as military and police forces continued hindering them.
