One more civilian has lost his life as a result of attacks by police and special operation teams against the people, which continue since the imposition of a curfew in Tekel, Mescit and Konak neighborhoods early this morning.

As residents carry out resistance and self-defence in response to the crackdown, Sertip Polat in his twenties has lost his life after being shot by Turkish state forces late Tuesday evening.

Death toll in the district rose to 2 since last night when 22-year-old youth by the name of Müslüm Tayar was shot by police units that opened random fire from armored vehicles before the announcement of the curfew.

People in the district continue defending themselves against the ongoing attacks by police and special operation teams.
