HDP MP Sarıyıldız in Cizre: Is 35-day-old baby not a civilian?

HDP deputy Faysal Sarıyıldız, who remains in Cizre for days now, refuted the remarks of Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu that “No civilians died in Cizre”.

Releasing the names of the civilians killed in the town, Sarıyıldız asked; “If no civilians were killed in Cizre, who are these people?”.

Sarıyıldız released the following names of civilians who lost their lives as a result of attacks and terror by Turkish state forces;

Recalling the 35-day-old Muhammed Tahir Yaramış who died after being denied access to hospital, Sarıyıldız asked; "Is the 35-day-old baby not a civilian?"

Sarıyıldız called attention to other civilians targeted by attacks in Cizre, asking;

Are the three people who suffered a heart attack and denied access to hospital, not civilians?

Is the 10-year-old child who was shot in the head Thursday evening, not a civilian?

Is Abdullah Özcan, who could eventually be taken to hospital 12 hours after getting wounded due to clashes, not a civilian?

Are thousands of people who were deprived of food, water and electricity not civilians?

Are four children, who got wounded as a result of fire opened from armored vehicles while going to buy bread, not civilians?"
