Footage of the YPS (Civilian Defense Units) sabotage action in Hakkari's Yüksekova district on August 9, has been released.

YPS had said the followings in a statement on the mentioned action; “At 18:50 on August 9, YPS/YPS-JIN conducted a sabotage action targeting an armored vehicle on move in between the villages of Page and Miçiç on Yüksekova-Şemdinli road. Eight soldiers were killed and five others were wounded in the action.”
