Civilian wounded by state forces in Şırnak dies

Turkish state forces have launched a heavy aggression against the neighborhoods of self-rule in Şırnak province.

The aggression with heavy arms left a civilian by the name of Mehmet Sıddık Tekman seriously wounded after he got shot by a bullet in the head in Ömerköy area of Dicle neighborhood. Residents rushed Tekman to Şırnak State Hospital where he lost his life soon later.

In the meantime, clashes continue between Civilian Defense Units YPS/ YPS-Jin and state forces that are trying to enter the areas of self-rule.

While Dicle neighborhood is intensely targeted by military vehicles deployed around the Provincial Directorate of Forestry, Yeni neighborhood remains under an uninterrupted attack by military vehicles around the Provincial Directorate of Culture.
