It has been seven days since dozens of wounded people got trapped in a basement after artillery attacks on Cizre's Cudi neighborhood. Six of them have bled to death waiting for an ambulance since, while 19 others are wounded, of whom 4 are in a life-threatening condition.

As the deliberate torture against the trapped civilians continues, two ambulances of Cizre Municipality have once again attempted to enter the area today afternoon to reach the casualties.

Armored vehicles have stopped both ambulances at the beginning of the Nusaybin Street where the wounded remain trapped in the basement of a largely demolished building.

The ambulances were forced to return, for the fifth time today, on the grounds of "clashes" in the area. It grabbed attention that the house and surroundings were targeted by artillery fire during the ambulance activity.

On the other hand, local sources report that there have taken place no clashes in the town during the past several days. Accordingly, state forces are opening fire around the house when ambulances attempt to access the trapped, pretending to be engaged in clashes with militants in that area.

Among those in the basement, Ferhat Karaduman who got wounded in the bowels has lost consciousness earlier today, while 4 others are reported to be on the brink of death. They have also run our of water for three days.
