Kurdish guerrillas set up a road block in Eruh, a district of Siirt province.
Guerrillas stopped the vehicles and checked the identities of the passengers near Demiremek and Cintepe villages of Eruh.
All the passengers were released after a short propaganda speech, locals said.
A witness said guerrillas told the crowd that they will carry retaliatory attacks against Turkish military in revenge of nine guerrillas who were killed on Wednesday in Hakkari.
